I'm semi confused about the Monster High mods with different hair colors from their original doll. Do they dye it (that doesn't seem right) or do they re-wig them?

They are rerooted. c: It’s where you pull out the factory hair and replace it lock by lock with new hair.
That, or they use a wig. x) I’ve personally been enjoying wigs more than tedious reroots myself, since it offers a wider variety of hairstyle possibilities.
