limegreensilk asked: What would you consider the absolute necessities needed for modding one of the Monster High dolls?
numituzineru asked: [cough] sorry to disturb but the writing on the mod you just posted is hindi/sanskrit, not arabic... :D;; /shot/

dammitkoi asked: Vinyl can be reshaped with a heat gun (available at most paint specialty stores and some hardware stores); abs plastic and similar compounds can be melted with cyanoacrylics but *I have not tried much of this myself* and cannot necessarily testify other than "well you can get some sick scars that way". Turn to scale modelers and kit bashers on this one, is my rec :) I can't include...
candieskulls asked: In post 18034836609 you mentioned a BJD artist by the name of Silk. Does she by any chance have a website or something to look at her work? Thanks!
Anonymous asked: Do you know what I would do if I wanted to add joints to a plastic doll that I believe has hollows in the legs/arms? Is there a something that would meld the plastic back together if I'd have to cut it? Thanks in advance~~
Anonymous asked: I just realized that you guys are running Resin Confessions! I just wanted to say thank you because I know how difficult that blog-type-thingy has been. I know you guys can do it. <3 Thank you for all of your blogs!
andimattone asked: could you list a few of the sites you follow that have to deal with bjd mods?

hurrhurrr asked: Hiya, first of all I love this blog @A@ soooo much! Secondly I just got a new boy in who has a scar over his right eye. It was pretty simply done with just using hot glue, but I love it. His faceup on the other hand does not suit me at all :/'' I'm just wondering if the hotglue will be okay for faceup removal? I usually use Isoprophyl Alcohol for my removals.
New Project! BJDConfessions
The original sparked our attention, however it died out very quickly. When we found the URL available, we couldn’t resist: anything related to the hobby, we want in.

Anonymous asked: About the Liv mods: First of all, not to be rude, but it's easy enough to cut their heads open and cut out their eyes, leaving little sockets or whatever in to hold the eyes without eye putty. Invest in an exacto knife for this :P Also, taking their faceup's off is a pain, I need to get some of that fabled brush cleaner to try-- not even straight acetone has budged it! I would love to...
elizabethplaid asked: I'd love to see before-and-after images, tutorials and guides, maybe some unusual custom doll clothing/shoes/wigs, guides to certain materials and supplies (pastels, paint brushes, sealants), sites to buy certain supplies. I'm particularly interested in wig making. Concept art and work-in-progress images are great, too.
etherealasylum asked: I love your blog, and check it regularly as part of my procrastination routine before homework assignments. I get creative inspiration from the posts I see here, and I enjoy seeing others' artwork. Whether or not you post BJDs, Monster High dolls, Barbies, whathaveyou, is really up to you. It's your decision as the creators of the blog, and I think that if you say something goes, it...
tea-britannia asked: So, I have a few questions. xD If you dont mind. I have a Monster High doll that I really want to redo, and I was wondering what you would suggest I use to repaint her. I also would like to know what you think I should use for hair. The look I want to give her is half-shaven, and the other side is long and wavy. Should I use mohair for the shaven? Also, I've heard that you cant use copics on...

Monster High: Re-rooting Resources
- Rerooting Tutorial(Includes vid) by Ghoul Talk - Get hair here - And here ;D
Anonymous asked: I'm semi confused about the Monster High mods with different hair colors from their original doll. Do they dye it (that doesn't seem right) or do they re-wig them?

Cleaning up the ask box(getting ready to do some mass answering over the next few days), we have over a dozen anon asks for DoA invites with no information other than ‘do you has? can i has? i want a doa invite right now’ etc.
How are we to send you said invite, if you ask on Anon, and don’t provide an email address…? We need a name and email address.
Over a dozen, guys....

batchix asked: About the barbies with open mouths. Yes! You can take an exacto blade and very, very carefully cut out the teeth. Using a tooth pick and super glue, gently dab a very thin line of super glue around the area that is cut and press the mouth closed. Not every sculpt looks good after closing the mouth, but yes, it can be done.
brokendollface asked: Hi! I looked through the tags but I couldn't find anything. I am doing my first face-up on a barbie for practice and I was wondering is there a way to close the gap between her lips?
Anonymous asked: Do you happen to have any Liv doll mods?
